Sicilian Salvatore Amato grew up in the tiny town of Palazzolo in Sicily, Italy. He grew up during the war, and shares his story of losing his mother when he was just 1 year old. Today, at 82, living happily in Australia, he spends his free time creating artworks to piece together his broken history.
